The last year and a half has been a special time of growth for our ministry.  Andrea’s contest win at the National Quartet Convention in 2010 was a milestone, and it allowed us the opportunity to release our music to gospel radio.  Andrea’s single “Peace In The Midst Of The Storm” has been well received and we’re very grateful!

As 2011 came to an end, Andrea and I began to pray about expanding our ministry and becoming a vocal trio.  Having worked with others in the past, we know the importance of finding the right people to make it all work.  With that said, we are pleased to announce the addition of our friend Jason Kelly to The Carpitchers.  He and his wife April have two young children -  Kirsten & Carter, and they make their home in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  Jason has many years of experience as a worship leader and pianist.  In addition to his vocals, his musical talents will add to our ability to perform with live instruments! As of January 1st of this new year, we are performing once again as The Carpitchers!  We've always been a husband - wife team on stage but our name will again reflect that.  We hope that you'll take a look around the new site and we will be telling you about some exciting projects as the year progresses!  If you are interested in having us come to your church or event, let us know on our contact page.

We are pleased to hear reports about our song "Peace In The Midst of The Storm".  It was released to radio in September and it continues to gain momentum.  Please call your local gospel DJ and request it!

We are currently working on an Internet Video program called "Native Gospel Showcase."  It will air over AIC-TV.org and will feature Native American Christian groups and singers.  The budget isn't much, but it will be a unique program devoted to the love of gospel music that Natives share all over North America.  We will share more about it soon!

NQC once again was a highlight of our year!  It was our rookie year of having a booth in the exhibit hall, and we are already looking forward to next year's convention.  To gather with thousands of folks that share a love for this genre of music is very uplifting and encouraging.  Andrea and I performed on Thursday at the Chapel Valley Showcase with many other talented artists.  Another exciting item to share is that Andrea's song "Peace In The Midst Of The Storm" was officially released to radio this month.  So, we're asking everyone that listens to southern gospel radio to call their local stations and request it.
